Barry Van Deusen Jr. - Owner
Barry Van Deusen graduated from Oliver Wolcott Technical High School in 2007. He studied Plumbing, Heating and HVAC in the trade school and graduated with a high school diploma. From there he has been working in the field ever since. In the past 15 years he has accomplished many certifications and takes advantage of any continuing education he can. He likes to learn new things whenever he gets a chance and to be in the know of new products. He has recently passed his contractors test which allowed him to start Northwest Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC. His primary goal was to start a business of his own, to be able to keep this trade alive, and hopefully train the future generations. Barry lives with his partner Kira that helps out in the business as well and keeps him in line, along with their animals.
Theodore Fredenburg (Ted) graduated from Oliver Wolcott Technical High School in 2015. There he studied Plumbing, Heating and HVAC and graduated with a high school diploma. He then started working as an apprentice under Barry for 4 years and has decided to grow into the business with him, as well becoming a partner in Northwest Plumbing and Mechanical. In 2018 he became licensed as a S2 Unlimited Heating, Piping, and Cooling Journeyperson, which allows him to work on all heating and air conditioning equipment. He hopes to continue onward to receive his P2 Unlimited Plumbing Journeyperson, which will allow him to work on all plumbing and piping work. He also plans on going for his P1 Unlimited Plumbing Contractors license and S1 Unlimited Heating, Piping, and Cooling Contractors license. Ted is NATE certified for ICE residential Air conditioning. He enjoys what he does and likes knowing his customers are happy and knowledgeable about their equipment. Ted lives at home with multiple dogs and enjoys motorcycles.

Kira Taylor studied business and veterinary science during her time in college. She takes care of all things in the office, from ordering business cards to invoicing. When not working in the office she is busy being a vet tech, taking care of the animals at home or being with her friends and family.

Arielle Van Deusen-McLaughlin graduated from Mount Everett Regional School in 2008. From there she went on to graduate from the University of New Haven with a B.S. in Forensic Science in 2012. During that time she also worked at Staples doing everything from being a cashier, copy and print associate, selling office supplies, working with Easy Tech Department and being a team supervisor. When not working in forensics she loves to read, spend time with her animals and husband, work on her pyrography business and compete in Strongman.
